Warner Bros. may have found its director for the possible Minecraft movie, reports Deadline. After acquiring the rights for the movie in the wake of the successful The LEGO Movie. Warner Bros. is in talks with Shawn Levy (This Is Where I Leave You, Night At The Museum) to be the director who can adapt Mojang's superstar franchise to the silver screen.

Roy Lee and Jill Messick will be producing the film, and with Lee's experience producing The Lego Movie, we will hopefully have a better chance at a successful video game-based movie for once. They could literally do pretty much anything with the Minecraft franchise, so my expectations for a strong, creative story are high.
