Link amiibo Will Be Compatible With Hyrule Warriors

The Link amiibo, which will be rolling out in the first release wave of Nintendo's NFC-based figurines, will not only be compatible with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, but also the recently-released Hyrule Warriors, Nintendo has confirmed.

The Big N broke the news in a post on Twitter:

There's no word yet on exactly how the figure will function in the game, but I'm sure we'll be hearing more from Nintendo on this front very soon, as the first batch of amiibo figures are set to launch alongside Smash Bros. for Wii U on November 21. That's just one month from now!
