New Super Mario Bros. Wii Has Sold 10 Million in U.S.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the hit 2D platformer that launched back in 2009 on Nintendo's motion-based last-gen console, has hit the 10 million sales mark in the United States.

"Wahoo! New Super Mario Bros. Wii just hit 10 million copies sold. That’s a lot of penguin suits!" Nintendo of America announced in a post on Twitter. Accompanying this week was the following image, celebrating this staggering milestone for the title.

Do you own a copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii? I know I was once the proud owner of that red DVD case a couple of years ago.
