Metal Gear Solid 4 Getting PlayStation Network Release

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is getting a digital release on PlayStation Network, Konami has announced.

The download will weigh in at a whopping 30GB and will arrive on December 17. Sadly, it won't be available for PlayStation 4 owners, as the downloadable game will only be available for play on PlayStation 3.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots launched back in 2008 as a PlayStation 3 exclusive. It's easily one of the best game available on Sony's last-gen platform, so hopefully this release on the PlayStation Store will expose even more gamers to Kojima Productions' amazing stealth-action title.
