How iOS 26.2 Worked on iPhone’s Major ‘Issue’

The iOS 26 was perhaps Apple’s most ambitious update since iOS 7. It attempted to give a major update to the look and feel of Apple iPhones. But major updates like these often come with a baggage of issues. This is exactly what happened with the Liquid Glass update, which was initially plagued by multiple problems like poor visibility and readability. However, Apple has fixed many of those issues in iOS 26.2.

iOS 26.2 fixed an iPhone ‘issue’

The iOS 26.2, the latest update to the new iOS 26, has fixed some of the initial issues that users faced after the launch of iOS 26. The new iPhone revamp saw Apple adopt a Liquid Glass UI, which reflects and refracts light on objects. Apple claimed that this was an attempt to make the operating system “more expressive and delightful” without becoming unfamiliar (via BGR).

The initial version of the iOS 26 update failed to meet user expectations and was surrounded by numerous issues that led to many complaints.

However, it seems that the iOS 26.2 update has fixed a lot of these problems, especially with the visibility, which was a concern among users. The new update includes skeuomorphic icons and a better balance between glassiness and readability.

Apple improved the much-needed lockscreen clock, which many users claimed was unreadable at first. In the new update, the iPhones now offer a solid and a glass option for the clock, allowing users to choose if they want to go with the more traditional readable version or the new, revamped clock. The company has also claimed that it will be bringing more options to match users’ wallpapers in the future. This will also increase the readability.

Another great update in the Liquid Glass design came with iOS 26.1, which gave an option to alter the transparency of Liquid Glass.
