Fortnite X He-Man Crossover Includes the Iconic Meme Fans Wanted

A crossover between Fortnite and He-Man is all set to debut shortly after the release of the Masters of the Universe film starring Nicolas Galitzine and Camila Mendes. On June 3, Epic Games announced the collaboration with a trailer that recreated an iconic meme fans adore.

He-Man set to debut in Fortnite soon

With the Masters of the Universe set to hit theaters on June 5, Epic Games seized the perfect opportunity to deliver the one crossover that was yet to arrive on Fortnite. The official X page for the video game first teased the collaboration with an eight-second clip, which showcased He-Man’s ripped physique. At the time, many fans had expressed huge interest in a reference to He-Man singing the Four Non Blondes hit What’s Going On as an Emote. It went viral online back in 2010 as a meme.

Fortnite delivered on fans’ expectations with the re-creation of the meme as a trailer. Hilariously, the classic HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA meme will also be available as a Fortnite emote. The collab comes as a part of the launch of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. The He-Man skins will be available on June 6, just a day after the film’s release.

The trailer gave a glimpse of the characters that fans will get in the game. Inspired by the classic 1980s animated cartoon, three characters will be available, namely, He-Man, She-Ra, and Skeletor. The three skins will come with their own additional cosmetic items. Each character will have a back bling and a pickaxe.

In addition to the HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA meme as an emote, the game will also include emotes for Skelletor based on the trailer. The character is likely to get two emotes that re-create his cameo in the classic internet meme music video. While waiting for the skins to be available in the item shop, fans can catch Travis Knight’s Masters of the Universe film in the theaters.
