Capcom Files Trademark for Dragon’s Dogma Online

A trademark for Dragon's Dogma Online has been filed by Capcom in the United States, Japan, and Europe.

The Japanese trademark was filed back on December 2 while the ones for western territories were filed on December 5.

Capcom has yet to formally announce a new Dragon's Dogma game, but considering the popularity of the original, a new entry in the series certainly sounds reasonable.

The truly interesting thing here is that the title appears to be an online game rather than a direct sequel. While the first title incorporated online elements, Dragon's Dogma Online sounds more like an MMO than a traditional action-RPG.
