November 2015 Release Calendar – Buy, Try, Die

Whether it's been the number of video game delays we've had or just publishers being very careful about their releases, the release calendar this year has been spaced out fairly well. Our wallets may say otherwise, but this year seems far more manageable than others so far. (I'm sure I'll regret saying that in about two weeks.)

Just today, we have the city-builder Anno 2205 and the reboot for Need for Speed coming out, along with Call of Duty: Black Ops III primed for this weekend. And just a week later we have the much anticipated Fallout 4, the Xbox One timed exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider, and StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void all releasing on November 10. (Sorta feel bad for the latter two games given the timing, but they'll survive.)

The middle of the month will star Star Wars: Battlefront up front and center, and we finally see the conclusion of Telltale's Game of Thrones series. If those games are too serious for you, Nintendo is offering Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash as its main entry during the holiday season (and that's about it, unless you're really into Animal Crossing). I must also give a shout-out to the new Bloodborne DLC The Old Hunters, since that game has been clamoring for extra content since late March.
