The Lepro O1 AI Floor Lamp looks to undercut the competition with its pricing, while still offering a comprehensive set of features that should please any RGB lighting enthusiast. This O1 model looks simple on the surface, but with an app that boasts a lot of functionality, this lamp becomes surprisingly versatile. Here is my review.
AI-assisted lighting
Once it’s plugged in and connected to the Lepro app, the O1 lets the user decide how its lighting setup is achieved. LightGPM is the unique option, with an AI system that lets the user enter a prompt to inspire various lighting combinations. You can tell it that you want a relaxing scene and it will come up with something peaceful. Alternatively, you can say that you’re having a big party and it will aim for something more lively. It’s a fun tool, though I ultimately opted to manually customize my own lighting setups.
Thankfully, for those who just want to manually go in and customize each section individually, the app allows for that. The LED lights support a high level of brightness, temperatures, and millions of vibrant RGB colors. Users can find their favorite combinations, save them as profiles, and then come back to them whenever they want. The app is functional and never crashed on me, which is always a good sign and not always a guarantee with these types of products.
Tuned to the music
While I didn’t really make use of LightGPM beyond the initial experimentation for the purposes of this review, I did use another big feature: LightBeats. This syncs the lighting to the beat of any music being played in the vicinity. It works well and really livens up the atmosphere.

Both Alexa and Google Assistant are supported, but that’s the extent of the home assistant support. Sadly, those using HomeKit, Home Assistant, or another assistant won’t find support here.
It’s a damn good light
The main highlight of the Lepro O1 is just how bright and vibrant it can get. It can light up the room in an impressive way, but with a diffusion that prevents any unsightly hotspots. It’s wonderfully executed and will look the part in any room or setup.
Alexa integration – the home assistant I use – works well and it’s great to be able to quickly change settings without the need for any remote or diving into the app. It fits in well with my existing setup of smart bulbs and other Lepro products.
The limit
The main downside of the Lepro O1 is the aforementioned limited home assistant support. Beyond that, there’s little to complain about. While, yes, it’s a little on the pricier side when you consider that it’s “just a lamp,” it is more often than not significantly discounted, so the RRP rarely applies.

Final Verdict
With an RRP of $159.99, the Lepro O1 AI Floor Lamp is premium in its pricing, but that price rarely applies, as the product is frequently on discount. Whatever the price you can buy it at, know that you are getting a premium smart lighting solution that is bright, vibrant, and has an app that works well. I’ve come away pretty impressed by the O1.
