Battlefield Hardline Manager Parts Ways with EA

Steve Papoutsis, a longtime member of Electronic Arts and most recently the general manager of Visceral Games, is leaving EA according to a Kotaku report.

Papoutsis worked on the Dead Space series and also helped with the launch of Battlefield Hardline, the latest project from Visceral Games. The exact circumstances of his departure are unknown.

An EA rep responded to the report and said, "We are thankful for Steve’s many contributions to EA and wish him the best."

EA veteran Scott Probst will replace Papoutsis as general manager of Visceral Games as the company continues its work. Hopefully the change in management doesn't result in any lasting negative effects.
