Sony Holding Pre-TGS Vita Conference

Although Tokyo Game Show doesn't begin until September 15th, Sony is kicking off the festivities a day early with a special Vita-focused press conference. This also comes one day after Nintendo's "new product" event.

A release date for the PlayStation Vita is expected to be give, at least for Japan. We do hope to see a time frame given for Western releases. Along with retains on launch, up to 20 unannounced games will be revealed or on display during the conference and the following Tokyo Game Show event.

Sony will be live-streaming the event. We'll be watching it live with our translator (Heath_Hindman) to get you all the details as they're announced.
