South Park: The Fractured But Whole To Release October 17th

South Park: The Fractured But Whole finally has what appears to be a solid release date. After two delays, the follow up to Ubisoft's unexpectedly enjoyable turn-based RPG based on the hit Comedy Central show will release on October 17th, 2017.

The Fractured But Whole was originally slated for release on December 6th, and a small demo was even playable by the press at PAX West in September. However, about 10 days after PAX, the company announced that the next South Park game would be delayed until early 2017.

But disaster would strike again in February South Park: The Fractured But Whole would be delayed a second time to an undisclosed date in the next fiscal year, leading many to believe that it may not come out until as late as Q1 2018.

Ubisoft confirmed in their financial report yesterday that The Fractured But Whole was on schedule for release in this fiscal year, but no one was quite prepared for an announcement so soon afterwards with such a specific date.

The Fractured But Whole will release on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
