What Are You Playing? June 8th, 2017

This week we saw the release of Dirt 4, Farming Simulator 18, and Wipeout Omega Collection. In other words, welcome to the Summer game drought.

As much as the list of high profile games is slim this month, I’m currently busy playing A Mage’s Tale, which dare I say will end up being considered arguably the best adventure game available to virtual reality once it releases later this month. It has a fantastic balance of dungeon crawling, puzzle solving, and combat, in addition to having good voice acting and animations, unlike most other VR games.

In the game you play as a mage apprentice, tasked with killing nasty monsters using customizable magic. You can level up and conjure custom magical spells that are as pretty as they are powerful. Expect a review on the week after E3.

What are you playing? Head over to our new and improved official What Are You Playing forum thread and let us know.
