Even if the hype for Palworld is starting to decline a bit, it isn’t deterring the thousands of players who are still enjoying it. Sometimes, the vanilla experience isn’t enough for some, which is why there are plenty of mods, including this one, that change the perspective.

Over on Nexus Mods, user Cristiferbeast has released a “simple mod” for Palworld that allows you to play in first person. While there’s nothing wrong with the third-person perspective, it’s nice to have the option for a new camera angle.
The creator also uploaded a video showing it in action. What’s good about it is it still retains a lot of game elements, including the UI. Cristiferbeast said they wanted a mod like this, which is why they decided to just go ahead and make one.
According to the description on the download page, you can access first person by pressing Alt+C together. This also suggests you can switch between perspectives rather than it being locked to one.
There are a couple of steps you need to take before you can use the mod, depending on whether you play on Steam or through Game Pass. For example, you’ll need the new version of UE4SS, and you’ll need to adjust some settings as well.
Selling millions within days of releasing to Early Access, Palworld quickly became one of the biggest games of the year. It smashed through several concurrent player numbers, with a record of over 2.1 million PC players as of a few weeks ago, according to SteamDB.
