What Are You Playing? Metal Gear Survive, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and More

It’s another slow week for the video game industry, as the lack of major releases has left us impatiently waiting for Monster Hunter World and Dragon Ball FighterZ to launch next week.

Speaking of Dragon Ball FighterZ, we managed to spend some time with the game’s beta this week and were left suitably impressed by its fast-paced fighting and fan service. It’s also been confirmed that it won’t carry microtransactions, which is always nice.

Jason has also been fighting for his life in Metal Gear Survive, a spin-off he expressed concern over in his preview. Can it live up to its namesake, or is a post-Kojima Metal Gear game destined to be a disappointing one?

Cody has been diving into his memory bank for this week’s The Perfect Level, in which he explored a classic stage from Halo: Combat Evolved. A lot of GR’s readers are enjoying this latest feature series, so check it out if you haven’t already.

But that’s enough about us — what are you playing this week? Let us know in the comments section below, and don’t forget to join in the conversation on our forums.
