Escape Plan Director’s Cut DLC Available Today

With today's PlayStation Store update, the Vita's adorably violent puzzle game, Escape Plan, receives Patch 1.04 and Director's Cut DLC for purchase.

The patch adds four new costumes to the dressing room, two of which can only be unlocked by playing through the Director's Cut levels. It also implements a new "poke control" that lets players stop Lil and Laarg by simply pressing a button, and now players can use the d-pad to prod the character into moving forward instead of just using the touch controls.

The Director's Cut DLC adds 21 new levels that the development team loved and were sad ended up on the cutting room floor. From the PlayStation blog, these levels contain "the most devious and evil tricks that Bakuki ever conceived. Including the Slap-a-ma-tron 9001, and a butt-ton of mind-bending puzzles."

The Escape Plan Director's Cut will cost $4.99 and will be available today when the Store updates.
