Life is Strange 2 Teaser Trailer

Life is Strange 2 Teaser Trailer Shows Off A New and Harrowing Story

For those who have just stumbled in, wildly swaying and wanting to know what the hell was going on in that Life is Strange 2 teaser trailer, well, you’re not the only one. Life is Strange 2’s very first episode is said to officially be released on September 27th, 2018, but that hasn’t stopped DONTNOD from teasing the rest of us with new material such as the trailer that was recently put out on Twitter.

As you’ll be able to see below, the individual who we’re following in the trailer is a cop who we know goes by K Matthews. It seems to us that Matthew is doing his beat when he notices something at a house nearby, and so pulls over, calls for back up and then goes to check the situation out for himself. Not even a minute passes before we’re shown Matthew and his trusty vehicle is thrown through the air with a variety of noises following afterward.

There isn’t much to go on, but we’d by lying if we said we didn’t have some speculation on what is happening. DONTNOD have mentioned before that Life Is Strange 2 will not be carrying on from the first game, but that doesn’t mean certain mechanics and themes from the first won’t be available in the second. For example, it appears that whatever threw the cop and his car into the air, wasn’t exactly a normal human being.

As we know from previous games, Rachel Amber and Max Caulfield, while human, also had ‘powers’ that held no real explanation. Max could manipulate time whereas Rachel’s power, while less ‘explicit’ than Max’s, seemed to have something to do with her emotions and nature. So, could this new protagonist also have something ‘strange’ about them?

Apparently, all will be revealed on August 20th. We can’t wait. Can you?
