Fire Emblem And Shin Megami Tensei, Two Great Tastes

Some of the news in today's Nintendo… DIRECT was incredibly welcome. With a lot of love for Atlus and the Shin Megami Tensei series, I was incredibly happy to see that the Big N would team up with the makers of Persona 4: Golden for a Fire Emblem, SMT crossover of some kind.

In particular, Nintendo studio Intelligent Systems will be pairing with Atlus. There are parts of Fire Emblem: Awakening that you might say draws from the Social Link mechanics in the Persona series. I'm excited to see what's coming next, but we'll have to wait and see as the trailer above clearly states that "Development [is] in Progress."
