Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.08 Update Patch Notes – What’s New?

The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.08 update patch notes are finally here. They come only a few weeks behind the previous patch and bring a whole slew of new changes. The update is 14.7GB on PS4 and around 22GB on Xbox One. There will be a PC patch sometime on December 4 with specific changes for that version. The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.08 update fixes some crashes and preps for some upcoming updates.

There have been some stability updates during Hellstorm strikes, Kill Confirmed, and more. Hardpoint spawn points have also been tweaked. Also whenever you kill someone, their Calling Card and Emblem will show up on your HUD. Stim Packs also are fully recharged upon spawn.

Treyarch has also adjusted the Care Package physics, which should result in them getting flung off the map less often. Speaking of Kill Streaks, Hellstorm shouldn’t lock on to people under rooftops anymore.

The 100 Percenter and Bring the Pain challenges should work properly now. Vehicles also count towards the Got Rocks challenge too. CWL Custom Games also have fewer restrictions in some areas (Sensor Dart, Hellion Salvo, and Torque) and more in others, especially considering you can’t Select Spawn anymore.

It’s just a bunch of stability updates. Not as many as last time, but still good bunch of little, specific fixes.

Killed enemies will also now have their Calling Card, Emblem, and Echelon show up upon death and kill cam. As with the other modes, there have also been a few stability changes.

Blackout will have some more changes coming soon. Treyarch said as much in its full patch notes.

“For our Blackout players: prepare for big changes coming to the game,” the post read. “We’ve got an extensive set of features, events, and more surprises planned for the future of Blackout, and we’re excited to share more details on everything coming in our next update in a dedicated post later this week.”

We won’t know exactly what those updates are and if they include what Treyarch has recently said. However, you can check out the current Black Market deals in the meantime.
