“Great Cleansing” At Valve Comes In The Form Of Layoffs

Sadly, a number of Valve employees have gotten the boot and will no longer be working at the company.

This news comes by way of account of engineer Jeri Ellsworth, who Tweeted, “yup. Got fired today. Time for new exciting projects.” In addition, Gamasutra is reporting that a number of other employees got canned as well, noting that this is all part of a “great cleansing” and “large decisions” at Valve.
