Call of Duty Teaser Site Now Live [Update: “The Ghosts Are Real”]

[Update]: The Call of Duty mosaic has been completed, and atop the image Activision has added the words "The Ghosts Are Real." Check it out below, and stay tuned for more on the game later today.

[Original Story]: We're expecting Activision to reveal the next entry in the Call of Duty franchise later this week, and thanks to the launch of a new teaser site, it looks like the waiting will come to an end very soon.

Over on the official franchise site, Activision has kicked off a Twitter campaign that encourages gamers to tweet using the "#CallofDuty" hashtag. Doing so helps to build out an image that is starting to look a whole lot like Modern Warfare 2's Simon “Ghost” Riley.

Retailer listings have led us to believe that the next entry in the series will be subtitled "Ghosts" and the image above all but verifies it.

Be sure to stay tuned to GameRevolution for the official reveal, which we're expecting will happen this Wednesday.
