Oddworld Dev “Really, Really Wants” To Develop MGS1 Remake

Earlier this week, Hideo Kojima expressed an interest in having the original Metal Gear Solid remade using the Fox Engine.

It didn't take long for a developer to step forward and volunteer for the task. Oddworld dev Just Add Water sent an open letter to Kojima stating why they are the perfect team for the job:

We at Just Add Water feel ideally positioned to do the remake justice for several reasons:

  1. We have experience working with legendary IP (Oddworld Inhabitants) and treating the subject matter with the respect it deserves.
  2. Many members of our team are huge Metal Gear fans, with very good knowledge of the source material.
  3. We really, really want to do it.

Do you think Just Add Water would be a solid fit for a remake of the PlayStation classic? Let us know in the comments below.
