Online Petition Requests Microsoft To Bring Back Xbox One’s DRM

It looks like a large portion of the gaming crowd will never be satisfied with the Xbox One. Now that The Big M has opted to backpedal on the much-hated DRM requirements for its next-gen console, a new vocal group has created an online petition that demands that the company brings those policies back.

The petition, titled "Microsoft: Give us back the Xbox One we were promised at E3," currently has over 3,000 supporters, some who are clearly just discontent Xbox loyalists, while a few others I'm sure are Sony fans who hope to see the Xbox One crash and burn.

While there is virtually no chance of Microsoft going back to its original plan, do you think the company would be better off doing so, or did they make the right choice by jumping off the DRM-heavy bandwagon? Let us know in the comments below.
