  • Speak to the BP Shop salesperson (the woman standing to the right, next to the shopkeepers)
  • Buy the Destiny Knot for 10 BP

Of course, you will need to build up 10 BP from taking part in the Battle Tower in Wyndon. Now get to breeding the best Pokemon you can thanks to the Destiny Knot.

What is the Pokemon Sword and Shield Destiny Knot Item?

As stated above, the Destiny Knot is an important item to get hold of in Sword and Shield if you’re looking to maximize the IVs of your Pokemon. Once you get it, it will make your life much easier in that department. This is an item to be held by one Pokemon during the breeding process. The new baby Pokemon you get from breeding will be given five of the six IVs from its parents, instead of the usual three.

This will help ensure that your new Pokemon will have all six perfect IVs, or at least, speed up the process of receiving them. We’d advise that you stick the Destiny Knot to a Ditto with good IVs. Check out our IV checker guide to find out more about how to check IVs of your Pokemon. Our Bottle Caps guide will come in handy, too, detailing the items you will need to raise IV levels.
