WATCH: League of Legends ‘Warriors’ Cinematic features epic battles

League of Legends fans rejoice: Riot Games is kicking off 2020 with the League of Legends Warriors cinematic and it features some pretty awesome fighting.

I have played approximately one game of League of Legends in my life, and none of that matters when watching the League of Legends Warriors cinematic. It’s a pretty epic tale told in just over 3 minutes and featuring equally epic music by Imagine  Dragons along with the talents of 2WEI and Edda Hayes.

The cinematic opens with three distinct scenes taking place: a massive battle in a castle, a beat-down brawl in a building, and a magical artifact protected by terrible creatures. Each of these three stories plays out featuring various characters from League of Legends like the pithy puncher Vi and the gigantic warrior Garen.

Whether or not you’re a fan of the game, it’s some of the finest animation I’ve seen repping a video game in recent memory. You can give the League of Legends Warriors cinematic a watch below.
