PS4 Will Support HDMI Capture, Voice And Gesture Control

While Microsoft's Kinect for Xbox One will undoubtedly be more powerful and technically impressive, Sony's PlayStation camera, which you can purchase separately for your PS4, will have a lot to bring to the table as well.

During Tokyo Game Show, the company confirmed that the PS4 camera will in fact support both voice and gesture control. Take that, Microsoft! Anything Xbox One can do, PS4 can do better also.

In addition, Sony confirmed that the console will support unencrypted HDMI output for games, making it incredibly easy to capture high-definition gameplay footage for things like YouTube walkthroughs. However, before all you Let's Play-ers get too excited, Sony exec Shuhei Yoshida noted on Twitter that support for this won't be available at launch.
