Logitech’s new gaming chair costs $1,495

Logitech and Herman Miller have revealed a new gaming chair that costs $1,495. The Herman Miller X Logitech G Embody Gaming Chair promises scientifically-backed ergonomics and a design that should apparently keep you both comfortable and cool. A new Logitech gaming chair that costs nearly $1,500, to play and stream PC games in: let that sink in.

Herman Miller explains that its Logitech Gaming Chair is designed with four key principles:

  • Unique spine support, no matter how you prefer to sit
  • Cooling foam technology in the seat to help keep you cool (and comfortable)
  • Cushioned, fully adjustable arms that should be easy to move to your liking
  • This should all help for a reduction in pressure build-up, which encourages healthy movement

For the $1,495 cost, you’re getting a gaming chair that has been designed “with the input of more than 30 physicians and PhDs in biomechanics, vision, physical therapy and ergonomics.”

It all sounds very scientific and comfortable, but are you going to be comfortable with paying $1,495? You may need to sit and think about it for a while, at least.
