Kojima Has No Intention Of “Personally” Carrying On Metal Gear Solid Another 25 Years

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima doesn't see himself working on his prized stealth-action franchise another 25 years.

"The only thing I can say for certain is that I personally will not be able to carry MGS forward for another 25 years," Kojima explained in an interview with Xbox Wire. "However, with new talent at the helm guiding the series through each new stage, I can easily imagine a world 25 years from now where a new MGS franchise continues onward into the future."

Do you fear the inevitable day Hideo Kojima steps away from the series? Do you think anyone will be capable of taking his place in heading up the franchise down the line? Comment below and let us know.
