Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Vita Release Date Announced, Collector’s Edition Detailed

Square Enix has announced the official release date for the PlayStation Vita version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. It will be launching alongside the PlayStation 3 version on March 18th.

And the good news doesn't stop there, as Square also revealed that, contrary to prior plans, both games will be bundled together in the handheld version. Those who purchase the retail version of Final Fantasy X HD for PS Vita will get a download code in the box for X-2 HD. It was already confirmed that both games would be bundled together in the PS3 version.

As you might have expected, the game supports cross-save functionality and will retail for $39.99.

The publisher also announced a special edition version of the game for PS3, which includes:

  • Full-size artbook packaging, featuring 40 pages of imagery from the beautiful world of Spira
  • FINAL FANTASY X HD REMASTER ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK (Blu-Ray MUSIC DISC) – Over six hours of music set to the game’s most memorable moments
  • Five lithographs of iconic artwork and characters

You can pre-order the $79.99 Collector's Edition right here.
