Microsoft Trademarks New Game “Throne Together” [Officially Revealed]

[Update] Microsoft has revealed Throne Together, which is not a new Xbox One franchise like we hoped. Instead it is a free-to-play game for Windows 8.1. More specifically, Throne Together is a block-placing puzzle title with a medieval flair. Check out the screenshot above.

[Original] Microsoft has filed a trademark for a piece of game software called "Throne Together."

The trademark was filed just a few weeks back on December 19th, and aside from the fact that it has to do with an upcoming game, no other information was provided. As such, we can only speculate as to what this new project might be. Here's to hoping an exciting new triple-A title is in the works.

What do you think "Throne Together" might be? A sequel to Ryse: Son of Rome perhaps? A new IP entirely? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
