Skyrim Coming To PS4 And Xbox One, According To Publisher Listing [Update: Bethesda Debunks]

[Update] According to Bethesda's Pete Hines, the listing was made in error thanks to a site bug. He posted the following confirming such on Twitter.

[Original] The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim may be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, if a premature listing on Bethesda's official site is any indication.

Naturally, the two platforms have since been removed from the page, but not before the folks over at OnlySP managed to grab a screenshot, which you can see posted below.

Of course, this is hardly confirmation of anything, but considering Square Enix is doing something similar with Tomb Raider, it certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility. Not only that, but it appears some folks on Reddit have received emails from Bethesda teasing an announcement coming on January 12th. I hope it's Fallout 4, but it could very well be an updated version of Skyrim.

Stay tuned to GameRevolution for more information on Bethesda's plans for 2014 and beyond.
