Valve Engineer Joins Forces With Oculus

Oculus has confirmed that former Valve engineer Atman Binstock will be serving as the company's new Chief Architect.

"The way technological revolutions actually happen involve smart people working hard on the right problems at the right time," Binstock shared on the Oculus blog. "And if I wanted a revolution, and I thought I was capable of contributing, I should be actively pushing it forward. I signed up."

Initially, Valve was working on a VR headset of its own, but has since decided to throw its support behind Oculus. A wise move considering all of the incredible talent now at that company.

Are you interested in gaming with a VR headset? I still have yet to try out the technology for myself, but from what I hear, it's quite amazing.
