Disney Infinity 2.0 Accidentally Revealed, Marvel Partnership Inbound

Disney fan site D23 revealed a snippet sharing information on for the upcoming Disney Infinity 2.0 before removing the blurb off its website, though it can still be seen in a cached version of the site.

The snippet reveals that the sequel to the extremely successful Skylanders-inspired series will release in August 2014 and asks readers to view a teaser trailer for the game on Marvel.com. Given Disney's acquisition of Marvel Entertainment for nearly $4.24 billion back in August 2009 (has it really been that long?), this is a very smart decision that will leverage a whole new crowd.

The teaser itself "promises such Marvel-ous additions to the game as familiar Marvel characters, objects, and vehicles​—the possibilities are infinite." I hope this means there will be some kind of Avengers tie-in eventually. Given the success of Marvel
