Assassin’s Creed, Mass Effect Animator Joins Naughty Dog

Jonathan Cooper, the animation director behind Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III, has joined forces with Sony first-party studio Naughty Dog.

In addition to his work at Ubi, Cooper served as the lead animator on the original Mass Effect and its sequel—not a shabby track record by any means. His jump to Naughty Dog was made known via a change on his LinkedIn profile.

We know that Naughty Dog is currently working on a new entry in the Uncharted franchise for PlayStation 4, so there's a good chance he's involved in that project. There have been quite a few departures from the Sony first-party studio lately, so it's refreshing to see someone actually joining the team rather than leaving it.
