Here’s When Xbox Gamers Can Access the Destiny Beta

Destiny, Bungie's upcoming shared-world shooter, is getting a playable public beta that launches this July. We already know that it will be coming to PlayStation 3 and PS4 on July 17th, but until now, Bungie and Activision have remained tight-lipped on when it will be available for Xbox One and 360 gamers.

According to a new trailer for the game, spotted on the Xbox One dashboard by VideoGamer, it looks like Xbox owners will be able to give the beta a test drive at the end of July. Naturally, you must have the game pre-ordered and be an Xbox Live Gold subscriber.

Destiny launches on September 9th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PS3. An alpha version was released to the PlayStation public earlier this month and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Let's hope the final product delivers on its promise.
