Price Point for Nintendo’s Amiibo Figurines Revealed?

Nintendo's NFC-based figurine platform, amiibo, was revealed just a few weeks back at E3. The figures looked quite detailed at the expo, with craftsmanship as good as (if not better than) what we've seen from Skylanders and Disney Infinity. The question that remains, however, is just how much these Nintendo-branded toys are going to cost.

According to UK retailer ShopTo, amiibo figures will be priced around £12.85.

Amiibo will be launching later this year for Wii U and will have a handful of nifty applications within Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Support for Nintendo's figurine platform will be coming to 3DS at some point next year as well.

Let us know how much you'd be willing to spend on these figures in the comments below.
