Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Receives PlayStation-Exclusive Content

Pre-orders for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's upcoming Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor on PlayStation platforms will receive a few exclusive bonuses, as revealed by the official PlayStation blog.

On top of receiving a Dark Ranger character skin and the Test of Power Challenge Mode, owners will be granted access to Legion Edition missions that will pit the lead character against two Warbands across Mordor: master assassins known as Blood Hunters and the elite-archers known as The Flesh Burners.

Crushing the packs of Blood Hunters will earn you the Stinging Blade Rune, while dispatching the Flesh Burners and dodging their numerous flaming arrows will net you The Black Arrow Rune.

As a reminder, pre-ordering Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor from GameStop grants a character skin and the Hidden Blade Rune. The title is slated for release on September 30, 2014 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
