Warner Bros. Reportedly Launching Its Own Digital Platform

Warner Bros. has filed a trademark for something called WB Play, leading many to believe that the publisher is planning to launch a service similar to Electronic Arts' EA Access program, which is currently available for Xbox One users.

The trademark covers a whole host of things, including "online retail store services," as well as "audio and video broadcasting services." It also makes mention of "downloadable virtual goods," which leads us to believe that WB Play could very well be some sort of new digital platform akin to Steam, Origin, or EA Access.

Warner Bros. has yet to come out and make any official announcement, so treat all this speculation as just that… speculation. That said, would you be interested in a digital platform centered exclusively around games from WBIE?
