How long does it take to beat Resident Evil 4 remake?

Resident Evil 4 remake took us around 22 hours to beat during our first game on Standard difficulty. However, this was a thorough playthrough and we stopped to get almost every treasure and fought nearly every enemy.

Once you know the game’s layout, it wouldn’t be difficult to beat it in half or even a quarter of the time. Unlike the original, stealth is an option this time around, and there are plenty of opportunities to sneak through areas quickly.

How many chapters are in Resident Evil 4 remake?

There are 16 chapters in Resident Evil 4 remake. The original had five chapters, which were each divided into several sub-chapters. The remake removes all that confusion and uses whole numbers for all its parts.

The chapters aren’t titled, but here’s where you’ll spend them:

  • Chapter 1: Village
  • Chapter 2: Village
  • Chapter 3: Village
  • Chapter 4: Village
  • Chapter 5: Village
  • Chapter 6: Village
  • Chapter 7; Castle
  • Chapter 8: Castle
  • Chapter 9: Castle
  • Chapter 10: Castle
