Halo: Spartan Strike Announced, Coming to Steam and Windows This Year

Microsoft and 343 Industries have just announced a new Halo game.

Yes, another Spartan-themed game is coming, but it's not another first-person shooter. Instead it's a top-down twin-stick shooter in the vein of Halo: Spartan Assault. In fact, it's essentially a spiritual successor to last year's polarizing spin-off.

Dubbed Halo: Spartan Strike, this budget-priced $5.99 game will be out on December 14 for Windows devices as well as Steam.

Let us know whether or not you plan on grabbing this new twin-stick shooter in the comments below. Me? I think I'll be too busy playing The Master Chief Collection to really care.
