Xbox One Gets $50 Holiday Price Cut

The Big M has decided to slash the price of its new-gen gaming console as a special holiday promotion. Instead of the current going price of $399.99, the box will be $50 cheaper, starting November 2.

"The Season of Xbox will begin on November 2, when Xbox One will be available for a special, limited-time promotional offer of $349 in the U.S." Major Nelson explained in a post on his blog.

And yes, that includes special editions! "Special promotional pricing of $50 off the console of your choice applies to any Xbox One console, including special edition bundles, offering some of the year’s most anticipated games – Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Sunset Overdrive," the Xbox spokesman added.

So, will you be grabbing a shiny new Xbox One in time for the release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection? From what I hear, Sunset Overdrive may be reason alone for picking up the console.
