The Boys is collaborating with another video game amid the premiere of Season 5. This time, it is happening with none other than Call of Duty: Mobile. The much-anticipated crossover will take place this summer.
The Boys are coming to Call of Duty: Mobile
Sony Pictures Consumer Products has dropped an upcoming collaboration between The Boys and Call of Duty ahead of Season 5’s release. The new crossover will reportedly feature three playable characters themed packages, including rewards, weapon cosmetics, and character skins. Jamie Stevens, EVP, Worldwide Consumer Products, Sony Pictures Entertainment, expressed excitement for the initiative in her statement.
She said, “The Boys has become a fearless cultural force, known for pushing boundaries and redefining the superhero genre.” Stevens further added, “For the final season, we focused on partnering with brands that authentically align with the series’ bold tone and devoted fan base.” She continued, they are “creating products and experiences that extend the world of Vought and our fan-favorite vigilantes, ‘The Boys,’ in ways that feel immersive, unexpected, and globally resonant (via Variety).”
This is not the first time that COD has collaborated with the superhero franchise. Previously, characters like Homelander, Black Noir, and Starlight showed up in games like Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2.0 Season 4 Reloaded, and Modern Warfare 3. At the time of writing, the supes in the upcoming COD Mobile have not been revealed. However, fans are expecting Homelander, Black Noir, Starlight, Firecracker, and A Train based on the previous collaboration. Moreover, many are expecting the entry of Billy Butcher.
Besides COD, Sony launched a VR called “The Boys: Trigger Warning.” Additionally, the popular series has collaborated with “Mortal Kombat 1” with Downloadable Content featuring Homelander. Meanwhile, fans are unable to keep calm on social media after hearing the announcement. One user wrote, “Hellll yeahhh less go.” Another one said, “I want homelander Billy Butcher, and winter soldier.” A third user shared, “Yes! Please add their execution moves.”
The Boys and COD Mobile crossover is expected to come out in late May or early June 2026.
