Fans react to Marvel’s Wolverine gameplay

Marvel’s Wolverine gameplay is pulling fans in as they watch Logan’s brutal combat style unfold frame by frame. Insomniac Games, in partnership with Marvel Games, developed Marvel’s Wolverine as a single-player experience. The title emphasizes intense combat, but its scope extends beyond melee action through a story-driven narrative focused on James “Logan” Howlett, the mutant known as Wolverine.

The Extended Gameplay Trailer follows Logan tracking the Reavers, a cybernetic mercenary group working for industrialist Bolivar Trask. Combat blends stealth and direct assaults, with Logan using claw “Techniques” while Jean Grey’s telekinesis creates openings for Critical Strikes.

A Rage system builds through combat. It powers stronger attacks and activates the Healing Factor. The system culminates in the Rage Tier 3 state and Last Stand mode. The trailer ends on a highway chase where Logan fights through trucks and enemies on a motorcycle. It showcases the game’s brutal, close-quarters action.

As for Insomniac Games’ X (formerly Twitter) post, fans responded with hype and frame-by-frame breakdowns of the trailer. One wrote, “I AM IN SHOCK! THIS WAS INCREDIBLE!!” “Y’ALL COOKED SO HARD I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” echoed another. “Looks really good can’t wait to play this !” read a comment. However, a gaming enthusiast suggested, “Please work a bit more on female faces, specially on Jean Grey.
