After a short hiatus, Buy, Try, Die is back. In this monthly feature we list all the games and hardware coming out during the month, highlighting major releases while simultaneously providing visibility to games that many gamers might not know about.
This month's spotlight is on the Nintendo Switch, which is introducing an all new hybrid style of gaming device to the market that serves as both a home console and handheld. Along with its hardware will be 11 games, the most notable of which is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a game that many are already calling one of the best Zelda titles ever made.
Shortly after Nintendo introduces its new console, Nier: Automata and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands will hit the streets. These two games have earned widespread acclaim during pre-release for different reasons. While Nier: Automata is an intense and thrilling action RPG, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands serves as an uncommon tactical shooter with an emphasis on co-operative play.
Perhaps the biggest game of the month is Mass Effect Andromeda, a long awaited reawakening of the award-winning Mass Effect franchise. This new release will feature a new hero, and an all new galaxy to explore. It's so popular that a recent gameplay video has over 3.2 million views and counting.
