No Man’s Sky‘s new Atlas Rises update has made a multitude of improvements to the game. Perhaps most notable of them are adjustments to the procedural generation model, allowing for much more foliage dense and vibrant worlds.

As a result of this, players have loaded up the game to set off and find beautiful new planets to land on and take screenshots. Thousands of these have found their way online at places like Twitter and Reddit, providing a fresh look at a much improved No Man’s Sky.

No Man’s Sky is selling extremely well after the update, earning a top spot on Steam where it has sold over 100,000 copies in a week. This has come as a big surprise to the thousands of gamers who were critical of the game at launch, back when its content offerings were much more limited in scope.
