Fortnite World Cup Week 6 Semi-Finals | Highlights

Fortnite World Cup Week 6

The Fortnite World Cup welcomes all players, regardless of skill or competitive experience. Anyone can enter the qualifiers to try and earn a place in the finals and, ultimately, the Grand Final. This can pit more casual players against professionals, making for some very interesting encounters. With that said, when it comes to taking the top spots in each region, it’s mostly established competitive players who take the spotlight.

Over in the Brazil region, W7M BLAACKOUTZZZ & W7M DKOUTZZZ scored the most points during the Week 6 semi-finals. An impressive 151 points was their final score, with each win awarding +10, 2nd-5th earning +7, 6th-10th resulting in +5, 11th-15th offering +3, and eliminations giving +1. Competitors earn as many points as possible in up to 10 matches.

W7M BLAACKOUTZZZ & W7M DKOUTZZZ averaged an insane 11 kills per game. Across the nine games played, they managed to win four times, with an average placement of 12.2. Some quick maths (using a calculator) puts their average points per match at 16.8.

Looking at the top of NA West, we see Arkhram1x & Bloom Falconer. This pair managed to earn 135 points across just seven matches. That’s an average points per match of 19.3. Their average placement is also impressive, at 3.4 with three first-place finishes!

The semi-final bouts in NA East were also fierce, ultimately ending with 1OOT Ceice & 1OOT Elevate taking the top spot by just two points. Out of the eight matches they played, they won an incredible four. That’s a 50% win rate! When they didn’t win, they still placed highly, with an average placement of 6.6.

Europe’s #1 spot was secured by Solary Airwalks &  Solary Nikof, who managed to win four out of the nine games they placed. With average eliminations totaling 6.4 and average placements at 12.1 they managed an average points score of 12.8, which put them three points above the second-place finishers MCES Andilex & MCES Orkh.

Oceania’s Week 6 semi-finals top place was thoroughly earned by Psyper & RepulseGod, who blitzed through the competition. Earning 145 points across 10 matches, this pair was a clear 16 points ahead of feminist caryion & feminist colt in second. An average eliminations count of 10.5 made up for the good, but not exceptional, average placement of 16.3 and their single win.

KGA backho & KGA SexyBoy took the top spot for the Asia region. With 120 points earned across nine total matches, this Duos team averaged 13.3 points per game. With only one Victory Royale, the pair put themselves above the competition with average eliminations of 8.6 and an average placement of 13.4.

Fortnite World Cup Week 7 Information

Fortnite World Cup Week 6 Semi-Finals

Week 7 of the Fortnite World Cup will rotate back to solo rounds. This puts less of a focus on teamwork and good communication, like we have seen in Week 6 with Duos, and a greater focus on lone wolf play. Without a player watching your back, you really have to focus on your surroundings and know when to push for additional kills, or when to retreat to survive for longer and place higher.

The Fortnite World Cup Week 7 semi-finals will be hosted on May 25, with the finals taking place on May 26.

If you missed the Week 6 Duos action, fear not, for the archive of the four-hour livestream is available below!
