Sims: Bustin’ Out, The GameCube Cheats

The Sims: Bustin' Out

Gamecube

Cheat Gnome:

During play, press Down, L, Z, R, Left, X. A voice will chime if you enter the code correctly and then a blue gnome will appear near the house. Now your Sim will receive a phone call everyday that will offer you Simoleons unless you're at Mom's, in which case you'll need to get the Sim hosting you to answer the phone.

Each of the following codes can only be entered if the Cheat Gnome code has already been activated. Each cheat will be disabled if entered a second time. If entered correctly, a Sim voice will chime upon the completion of each code.

Unlock every object:

During play, press Down, Z, Up, Y, R.

Unlock every location:

During play, press Down, Z, R, L, Z.

Unlock every social:

During play, press L, R, Down, Down, Y.

Unlock every skin:

During play, press L, Y, A, R, Left.

Manipulate Motives:

During play, press Start, then press L, R, Y, Down, Down, X. Select the Cheat Gnome and then the option 'Fix Motives.'

Rags to Riches:

At Mom's house, Mimi's place, or Dudley's trailer, continue to make purchases until you possess less than $100. Wait for about an hour of game time. The phone will ring and when you answer it you will receive $$$. Just repeat this until you have desired amount of wealth.

Become a Momma’s Boy (or Girl):

At the beginning of the game, don't get a job. Stay at Mom’s House building up skills and making friends. Since several motives don’t decay at Mom’s (most notably energy, so you won’t have to sleep) and you don’t have to go to work, you’ll be able to build up skills very quickly.

Take Time Off for Personal Development:

If you haven’t fulfilled the necessary requirements for a promotion, move back into Mom’s House. Instead of spending an unproductive day at work, you’ll be able to build up your skills and make friends. When you’re ready, move back into the appropriate lot and nab that promotion.

Call a Rich Friend:

Create two Sims on two memory cards. Load one, sell everything at Mom’s House, and save. Load the other and allow the Sim who sold everything to join as the second player. Make the rich Sim empty his or her steamer trunk of money. This should net you about 50,000 Simoleans. Repeat at will.

Rely on Charity:

Spend all of your money. When you do, you should start receiving money via telephone calls. As long as you keep draining your account back to zero by buying more stuff, the calls will keep coming. When you’re done, sell everything you bought.

Become an Alcoholic:

Drinks made with the drink bar refill energy, fun, and food. If you turn your roomies into drink mixing extrodinaires you’ll never have to sleep, eat, or worry about fun.

Fishin For Profit:

To get the Fishin for Profit book go to Nikki Nack's store (open 9am to 5pm). After you buy it go find O'Phil Maclean, give it to him and he will give you a job. You have to get the goals from him first; to do that go talk to Salty. Later in the game you will be offered by Nikki Nack to buy Waterfront Villa for 3,000 Simoleans.
