In-Game Reset: 


  While playing press Select + Start + A + B.
Suspend Game: 


  While playing press Select + R to suspend the game without turning it off. Press 
  Select + L to continue. 

Hints
Level Warps:


  Warp to World 4: In level 1-3 go to the area just before the brick background. 
  Pick up the plants until you get a bottle. Then go past the brick background 
  until you find a pot and throw the bottle on it. Go through the door and down 
  the pot into World 4. 


  Warp to World 5: To warp to level 5, first get to level 3-1. When you enter 
  the first door, fall all the way down. You have to be in the middle as you fall. 
  When you stop, you will find a platform with a door. Enter the door, then look 
  for the potion in the grass. Pick it up, then throw it on the ground, enter 
  the door in cyberspace, and go into the vase and you will be at level 5. 


  


  Warp to World 6: In level 4-2 In the area with the whales find a bottle and 
  throw it on the next pot. Enter the doorway and go down the pot into World 6. 
  


  Warp to World 7: Work your way to level 5-3. (It would be a good idea to choose 
  Luigi for this level because of his superb jumping skills.) Go up the ladder 
  at the beginning of the level, and then jump up onto the ledge above the ladder. 
  As soon as you get on top of the ledge, grab the first grass on the right. It 
  is a potion. Use the potion and go through the door. Now, while in sub-space, 
  go down through the jar and voila! Now you're in Level 7!
Level 1 Secret Room:


  If you use luigi in level 1, when you go in the cave and go up the vine turn 
  left and jump to find a secret exit to the end of the level.
Another 1-Up Loop:


  Get to level 4-1 first. When you take the rocket to the area with the snowballs 
  and the cart-riding shy- guys, you will get to a point were you can uproot a 
  shell. Near the shell is a area with steps that you have to take. DO NOT CLIMB 
  THE STAIRS!!!! Instead throw it between the first step and the wall. Then climb 
  up the stairs untill you see the cart-riding shy-guy. Let him fall down the 
  stairs and get hit by the shell. It will consider that you defeted two baddies 
  at the same time. Go back to the stairs were the shy-guy was and youll see that 
  he regenrated. Keep doing this untill you have max lives. This is also a good 
  way to refill your health.
Extra Lives:


  If you knock more than four characters on the screen off you recieve extra lives 
  (1-ups). If you want to recieve lots of 1-ups (you can get up to 99), here's 
  a good trick. In level 1-1, go to the area where you recieve your first heart, 
  grab the POW black and wait for the Big ShyGuy and the masked bird to appear, 
  throw the block and quickly move to the right until the ground stops shaking, 
  you should see three 1-ups appear. Go back into the door at the beginning of 
  that section come back to the POW block and do it again. Keep doing this until 
  you reach 99 characters.
Easy Way To Get Extra Lives:


  Go to level 5-3, and proceed up the ladder to the right of the starting place. 
  Once you get onto the surface the first radish(buried bonus thing) is a koopa=shell. 
  Pick it up and jump on it. The shell will just travel back and forth in the 
  first little area, meanwhile bombs are being dropped near you, just stay on 
  the shell, and occasionaly press down to avoid the bombs, after hitting 5 bombs 
  you will have got an extra life and any extra bomb you hit will get you another 
  extra life.
Even Easier:


  Go to the choose a game meuu an press L + R + B and you will get and extra life. 

Many Extra Lives:


  You can go into the cave and climb up the vine and turn right go to the third 
  plant and pick it up and throw it at the creatures and get all of them to get 
  a life. Then go through the door. Go through the door again to get into the 
  cave again and repeat method to get as many lives as you want.
Tons of Extra Lives in World 2-1:


  In World 2-1 before you fight birdo you'll find a pot. Enter it and there'll 
  be 2 shy guys. Pick up one and throw it at the other and you'll get 1 1up. Exit 
  the pot and re-enter and do it again until you have 99 or the amount you want. 
  (note: You can get 2 1ups the first time you do it by picking up the plant. 
  after that it'll just be a carrot.)
Yes, Even More Exta Lives:


  In level 1-1, when you are in the cave, you can climb up into a room where you 
  will find five purple jumping guys. Kill one and a chain reaction will kill 
  them all, you will get an extra life. Go down the rope again, then climb up 
  and do the same.you can do this over and over again until you hve 99 lives.
Umm... Lives Anyone?: 


  For a few extra lives at world 7-1 climb up the ladder then go right and pick 
  up the mushroom block. Now place it next to the building with the door to the 
  left. And the Shyguys from the pot will fall into a 1-spaced trap. Now wait 
  until the pot stops producing Shyguys and pick up 1 of the trapped Shyguys. 
  Now go to the the right of the mushroom block and throw the Shyguy (to the right) 
  and if you do it right you'll get 2 lives. Go inside the building and back out 
  and repeat for some lives before going to the last level (7-2). 
Birdo's Bow: 


  You can take off birdo's bow when you jump on her head. I found that it works 
  on only some of them.
A Lot of Hearts:


  If you want to refill your heart meter just pick up big shys and and keep throwing 
  him do NOT throw him at a enemy however, if you throw him once you get one heart 
  just keep repeating this until you have all your hearts.
Extra POW: 


  In world 1-1, climb up the vine and get the potion, then go to your right and 
  use it next to the POW block, then enter the door and jump on the POW and pick 
  it up. Let the timer run out and you will have an extra POW block.
Yoshi Mode:


  Beat Super Mario Bros. 2, and when you look at your file after you beat it, 
  it will say 00/40, there are two eggs in each level, you can find them behind 
  the potion doors. If you throw the potion door down, and go inside and there's 
  no egg, try getting the potion again and put it somewhere else. If you find 
  all the eggs, you can play Yoshi as a character. You'll know if you have him 
  by looking on the main screen. On the hill you will see his egg moving around, 
  you'll know you have him if you get all the eggs and his egg hatches.
The Marksman:


  In level 1-1 in the cave go up the vine get the big vegetable and throw it so 
  it hits all of bad guys if done right you could get a lot of points and 1ups.
Warp 4-2 to 6-1:


  On the whale part after the purple porcupines grab the magic potion and carry 
  it to the exit door. Drop it where you can see the jar next to the exit door. 
  Enter subspace and jump into the jar to find a Warp to world 5-1 and then go 
  down the jar.
Get 99 Lives Fast: 


  On world 5-3, as soon as you climb up the ladder at the beginning, Go to the 
  right, the only direction that you can go and pull out the first root which 
  is a red shell. Throw it straight and jump on top of it, as you are doing this, 
  the birds will come dropping bombs and the shell will knock the bombs off. The 
  bombs keep coming so this trick is sure to work!
1UP Loop in World 3-3:


  In the room before you get the key in world 3-3 there's a plant. Pick it up 
  to get a shell. Go to the bottom and throw it in the gap with the door you came 
  in and jump to the left side. Meanwhile shyguy's will be coming out of the jar 
  and go into the gap and get hit. The'll keep on coming so you can get many 1UP's! 
  (Noat: Don't Stand or duck on the shell. Most the time you'll get hit.) 
Words to The Wise:


  Don't dig straight down. Vary your pattern, or enemies will fall on your head.
2 Llives to Immortality: 


  This code will work only if you have 2 or more lifes. If you die in a level 
  start it all be over by choosing the same character and the same level. Then 
  when the level starts press START and choose TRY AGAIN. This will take you to 
  the start of the level but you'll have your original number of lives back. The 
  bad part is that if you gain any lives before you die you won't be able to keep 
  them. 
Get Red Yoshi:


  To get the Green yoshi at the title screen once the egg hatched to be red, Do 
  the following in this order. 


  Beat the game with any charactar, this will show a green egg at the title screen, 
  Get all of the eggs, this will Make the egg hatch and a green Yoshi will appear, 
  Get all of the Advance tokens (5 in each level) This will give you a red yoshi 
  at the title screen. 
I Can Fly:


  In any level where there are red beezos jump on it and run the same direction 
  as the red beezo.Now you will fly until you hit something or stop running.
No Key Required: 


  At world 3-3 go into the building. Then keep on going right until you get to 
  an unlocked door next to a locked door. Enter it and pick up the jinx. DO NOT 
  THROW IT AT AN ENEMY. Instead go as far as you can go up with and then drop 
  it on the ground. Jump on him then super jump on top of him.(By holding Then 
  when you character glows press 'A'.) You should have enough jump to make it 
  onto the platform above you, skipping the annoying key part.
Get 1up very Easly: 


  After Climbing the vine in world 1-1 (in the cave) Instead of picking up any 
  plant, pick up the one closest to the jinx. It's a big plant making it easier 
  to kill the jinx for the 1up.
The Big Long Jump: 


  Chose Luigi or Peach for world 4-3. Then go out of the tunnel and jump on one 
  of birdo's eggs. You'll end up across the lake. Then jump onto the platform 
  with a ton of tweeters. Now run and jump to the right. You'll end up landing 
  at the end of the platform and at the end of the level!
Shortcut to Birdo First: 


  Go to level 1-1. Go into the cave and climb up the vine. Then jump across the 
  gap with the waterfall to the blue shy guy. Throw him off so he doesn't get 
  in your way. Then pick up a bomb from either plant on your screen. When it's 
  about to explode throw it at the rocks blocking the door. If you timed it right 
  you can go through the door, go through it. After that jump on the top ledge. 
  Then jump to the top of the screen. Keep walking to the left until you fall. 
  If you do this correctly you should be on the Birdo Stage!




Here is where all the eggs are, in Yoshi's challenge.


There are two eggs in each level and they will be found when you go through to 
the dark world(potion doors).





WORLD 1-1


Egg #1:At the begining go down to the bottom and go through the door, now go along 
and up the vine the first plant is a potion. Now pick it up and jump down to where 
the vine is and drop the potion to the right of the vine and go through the door 
now you will see the first egg drop down.





Egg #2:Now that you have the first egg, to get the second go straight to the right 
and enter the door leading into the cave. When your inside go up the vine and 
exit to the right, now go up the other vine to the right. Make your way up and 
until you see a vase, go inside it and get the potion and leave the vase. Now 
go to that single plant just up from the vase and drop the potion and you will 
get the second egg.





World 1-2


Egg #1:Get a ride on the magic carpet and when you get off at the other side pick 
up the first plant and you will get a potion. Drop it just before the first Jinx 
and go inside the door and the egg will drop from the sky.





Egg #2:After you get the key open the locked door, go to the wall that you have 
to blow up, and blow it up. After you have done that go up the ladder and get 
the potion and drop it as soon as you pick it up and go through the door, now 
go down the ladder and where the Snifit was there will be the egg.





World 1-3


Egg #1:First go right to the bridge and pick up the second plant to get the potion. 
Now go under the bridge and drop the potion just before the trouter(fish) drop 
the potion and go through the door and where the three Jinx's were the egg will 
be. 





Egg #2:After you get the first egg go straight to the right and enter the building. 
Now go up and when you see chains go up the left one and when at the top go into 
the vase and get the potion. Leave the vase and drop the potion on the middle 
platform and you will get the second egg.





World 2-1


Egg #1:Go right and when you see yellow squares with four plants on the top pick 
up the first one to get the potion. Now drop the potion to just before the quick-sand 
and go inside the door, then quickly get the egg before it goes down the quick-sand.





Egg #2:Now you have the first egg keep going right until you see two Shyguys and 
a plant spitting fire, pick up a Shyguy and throw it at the plant '' '' and you 
will find a plant under him which is a potion and when you get it throw it where 
you are standing and you will get the second egg.





World 2-2


Egg #1:First of all, exit the cave and keep going right until you see a ledge 
with a door under it. Go through the door and blow the wall and go left and pick 
up the middle plant which is a potion, then go back to the right and go straight 
to the bottom right and drop the potion. Go through it and you will get the egg. 






Egg #2:Now you have the first egg go straight to the right and shimmy down the 
vine and dig down to the left hand side and when you reach a vase pick up the 
left plant which is a potion and head straight back up to the top and drop the 
potion near the vine and go in the door and pick up the egg.





World 2-3


Egg #1:At the begining go up the ladder and the first plant to the right is a 
potion, drop it right next to the ladder and go inside the door and the egg will 
be there.





Egg #2:Now you have the first egg go to the right and enter the pyarmid and go 
down the right hand side and when you land go to the platform just above you with 
a plant which is the potion and drop the potion as soon as you get it and when 
you go through the door the egg will be there. 





World 3-1


Egg #1:As you start go through the door to the right and instead of going up the 
waterfall go down the waterfall and stay in the middle and land on the little 
hill and go through the door.The tenth plant along the the way is a potion, go 
to the vase and drop it on the top of it and go through and the egg will drop 
and you can get it.





Egg #2:After that go through the door leading to the top then go sraight up and 
get a ride on the magic carpet and go up to the vine and climb up. When there 
go right and the hill where there is two plants pick up the left one and then 
jump to the cloud above you and drop the potion then you will get the egg.





World 3-2


Egg #1: At the begining go straight to the right of the level and once you get 
to a little hill with some plants on it pick up the first one and drop it to the 
left of the hill and you will get the egg





Egg #2:Now blow up the two blocks and go down and then down the ladder. Then after 
you've blown your way through the walls go up the ladder then go along to the 
left to the other ladder and go down. Jump your way across to another ladder but 
don't go up, instead jump to the left (your best with peach on this one as she 
can float) or you could go up the ladder then go left then down another ladder 
to get there. Then when you're there pick up the plant which is a bomb and when 

it's about to blow throw it down so it'll blow the wall. Then instead of going 
up the ladder go left and you will see some Porcupos's, and four plants. Pick 
up the last plant and blow the middle blocks on the left hand side then pick up 
the first plant to get a potion and throw it down just before the blown away bloks 
then go through and you will get the egg.





World 3-3


Egg #1:First get out of the cave and when you go right you will see three pillars 
and a pow block then if you go further a little bit you will see four plants the 
last is a potion, pick it up. Then throw it down near the third and biggest pillar 
and the egg will be on top of it.





Egg #2:When you get through the locked door do straight to the top and pick up 
the plant that is up to the right to get a potion now drop down in between the 
the two ladders and when you land drop the potion and you will get the egg.





World 4-1


Egg #1: First when you start go right until you see a floating heart in the sky 
and under that is one plant which is the potion, pick it up and go right until 
you see five plants and drop the potion and you will get the first egg.





Egg #2:At the end where you pick up the rocket just before that is a potion, pick 
it up and drop it near the the rocket area and the egg will be where you picked 
up the rocket.





World 4-2


Egg #1: Go to the right of the first area and go through the door and you will 
see alot of whales. First go left and pick up the last plant to get a potion then 
drop where you can see the left of the whale under the cloud with the door and 
the egg will be there.





Egg #2:Now go left until you reach three pillars with three plants on each and 
go to the biggest one and pick up the last plant to get a potion then drop just 
before the ice steps and on the first step the egg will be.





World 4-3


Egg #1: Fist leave via the door then on the first hill bit pick up the first plant 
to get a potion and go to the left and when you see three pillars drop the potion 
and the egg will be on the middle one.





Egg #2:Then ride along to the right on one of Birdos eggs and when you get the 
end of this area go through the door and go straight to the top and out the door. 
Then you will see two plants, pick up the first plant and go left to where the 
clouds are and jump up to the top and drop the potion and on the first bit of 
the castle the egg will be sitting.





World 5-1


Egg #1: First go through the door and pick up the second plant to get a potion 
then you need to jump across the the waterfall without falling and when you get 
to a bit where there are three Trouters drop the potion just before them and you 
will get the egg.





Egg #2: After that jump across the trouters and go to the ledge with two plants 
on it, and then go right the last platform and then when on the first log thing 
feep down pressed and jump up to the right and you should be able to walk right 
and then you will see two holes with stoppers. Drop down the fist hole and pick 
up the stopper and then you will fall down and throw it down and pick up the first 
plant to get a potion and drop it under the hole then the egg will fall down the 
hole.





World 5-2


Egg #1: First leave by the ladder and then go right until you reach a vase and 
go down it then use the bomb to break the blocks and pick up the first plant to 
get a potion then leave the vaseand go right until you see that thing spitting 
the fire out and drop the potion and on the first pillar you will get the egg.





Egg #2:Go all the way to the right and up the vine and you will see two Snifits 
one on the left and one on the right. The one on the right is on top of the potion 
so kill him and get it. Go on top of the Hoopster on the left vine and ride it 
all the way to the top and when you drop the potion the egg will be on the cloud.





World 5-3 


Egg #1: First leave by the ladder then above you will be a vase and three plants 
get up there and pick up the first one to get a potion then go to the right until 
you reach two logs,(they look like a 'T' shape)


drop the potion to the lft of it to get the egg.





Egg #2: When you reach the cave blow the two blocks on the ground, go down and 
get the potion, jump back up and drop the potion to get the egg.





World 6-1


Egg #1:First go down the first vase you come across and get the potion then leave 
the vase and drop the potion on the bones and then get the egg before it gets 
sucked into the quick sand.





Egg #2:When you enter a room full of vases go straight to end at the locked door 
and there will be two plants pick up the second one and you'll get a potion. Goto 
the vases and drop the potion on the 9th vase from the right to get the egg.





World 6-2


Egg #1:THIS ONE IS A BIT HARD:First exit the cave and pick up the first plant 
and get on the first Albatosse there and when you encounter that fire spitting 
thing throw the veg at him and oick up the plant to get the potion and get back 
on the albatosse then keep down pressed to jump up to the tall platform and drop 
the poytion on it to get the potion.





Egg #2:After that pick up the first plant to get a potion then get a ride to the 
end of the area and where the five jinx's are just before it is a pillar with 
one plant on it drop the potion and you will get the egg.





World 6-3


Egg #1:After climbing the first ladder you'll find yourself outside. Pull up the 
first plant to the right of the ladder and carry it over the cacti. When you reach 
the second bone platform where the Shyguy is standing, drop the potion. The egg 
will fall from the sky and land in the quicksand between two small cacti. Grab 
it before it's gone.





Egg #2: After you've made your way up the vine and into the clouded area, keep 
an eye out for a vase; once you see it, hop in and pull up the potion. Drop the 
potion onto the cloud floating off to the left of the one with the vase. This 
is where the second egg is.





World 7-1


Egg #1:First, make your way up the ladder until you see a heart hovering in mid 
air to your left and a plant sitting on a pillar to your right. Make your way 
right until you reach a Jinx. (Just past a platform with 3 plants on it.) Just 
past this Jinx is a pillar with a plant sprouting from the top. Pull this plant 
up and toss the potion behind you onto the breakable walkway where the Jinx is 
located. Make sure the Bobombs don't blow up the walkway; this is where egg will 
be.





Egg #2:After collecting the first egg, ride a Albatosse to the FAR left side of 
this level. Pull up the plant between the tall pillars (next to the ladder) and 
take the rocket to the upper section of this level. Work your way to the far left 
of this new section of world,and head up the ladder. Next, start your way up, 
past all of the Sparks, until you reach a section containing four ladders and 
a spitting Shyguy. On the pillar directly across from the spitting Shyguy, there 
is a pillar with a potion providing plant on top. Pull up the potion and toss 
it over to the cloud just below the Shyguy. Enter the door and collect the egg.





World 7-2


Egg #1: Begin this level by moving right and entering the large black door. Continue 
right, past all of the the conveyer belts, until you reach a chain leading to 
the upper levels. Continue traveling up… and left… and up… and to the left, past 
all of the sparks cluttering your path, until you reach a door. Enter the door 
and jump all the way down to the bottom of this screen. Follow the bottom ladder 
down and enter the door. In this room there are four pillars and two plants. The 
plant to the right is the potion; pull it up and drop in to the left of the door 
you entered through. Enter the new door and pick up the first of the final two 
Yoshi Eggs.





Egg #2: After collecting the first egg, make your way back to the beginning of 
the world 7-2. When you reach the conveyer belts, slide down the first chain you 
see. Make your way down through all of the "stoppers" and into the door at the 
bottom. Now move right past all of the Sparks until you reach a door; enter it. 
You'll now be in a room with five pillars and two plants. Pull up the left plant 
and return to the doorway. Drop the potion anywhere on this platform… Ahh, FINALLY 
the last egg of our wonderful adventure.
