Elite Hunts have returned in Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood. Though, this time they are a daily objective rather than weekly.
Picked up in Kugane, Each Elite Hunt kill earns you 100 Centurio Marks. These can currently be used to buy a few minions in addition to valuable material. Soon, other items will be added for purchase.
Note that Elite Hunts can spawn in several locations. In addition, some have unknown properties where they can only spawn during particular weather conditions or during FATEs. Due to this, you may be better off joining a Linkshell that calls out when these monsters spawn, as hunting them directly is time consuming.
