Filled with so many side quests and main quests to complete, we continue our series of walkthroughs with the Kingdom Come Deliverance Next to Godliness sidequest walkthrough. This is but one of many optional (but totally recommended) quests that you can partake in during your adventure. For this one, in particular, you can start it after completing The Prey.
Kingdom Come Deliverance Next to Godliness begins by speaking with Lord Hans Capon once you’ve completed The Prey and he will tell you to join him at the bathhouse in Rattay. To truly begin the Next to Godliness quest, you must wait until it’s dark and then join Capon at the bathhouse.
Kingdom Come Deliverance Next to Godliness Walkthrough
Upon arriving at the Rattay bathhouse at night, the festivities will truly start. Your first challenge in Kingdom Come Deliverance Next to Godliness is a nice game of strip dice against a maid at the bathhouse. Now, we know you really want to win you some strip dice but it can seem like a loaded game for sure. If you really want to win, chug some Savior Schnapps to save the game, reload if you lose, and pray to RNGesus.
Ultimately, whether you win or lose is irrelevant as Kingdom Come Deliverance Next to Godliness will continue regardless. Capon will now task you with retrieving some Sylvian Red from the Rathaus cellar. This part can be insanely tricky if you immediately head off towards the cellar.
This is because there is a key to the cellar in the chest right next to Capon’s bath. This will make the Kingdom Come Deliverance Next to Godliness quest a million times easier because otherwise, you’d have to pick the very hard lock. Rathaus is the large building housing the apothecary and armorer stores near the town square.
To access the Rathaus cellar, go around to the back of the building and open up the door there. Head down and you will find yourself in the cellar fast. Grab a pitcher and the Sylvian Red wine from the cellar. If a guard finds you, simply be honest and say Capon sent you and show him the keys. Return to Capon for the next part of Kingdom Come Deliverance Next to Godliness.
Upon returning, Capon will send you on one final task: to collect four flowers for the Kingdom Come Deliverance Next to Godliness quest. You can find Dandelions, Poppies, Rose, and Sage in one easy place. Go to the eastern side of the town to the training arena. There is a garden just near there northeast of it. You can find all of these flowers and more there.
Finally, return back to Capon and a short fight will ensue. Wake up in the morning with a hangover and return to Capon to complete the Kingdom Come Deliverance Next to Godliness quest. Well done.
